Terms of service

By placing an order with The Après Hour, you agree to the following terms.

1. Products

All designs are made to order. Minor variation in color, texture, or registration between pieces is inherent to the process and is not considered a defect.

Estimated lead times are provided at checkout; lead times are estimates, not guarantees.

2. Intellectual Property & Copyright

All designs, patterns, artwork, photography, and brand assets appearing on this site or on any The Après Hour canvas — including color combinations, motifs, layouts, and stitch charts — are the sole property of The Après Hour and are protected by copyright. Purchase of a canvas conveys the physical product only. It does not convey any right, license, or ownership in the underlying design.

Retail purchases grant the right to stitch the canvas for personal use.

Wholesale and authorized reseller purchases grant the right to resell the physical canvas, as received, to an end consumer through the account's normal retail operations.

Neither type of purchase, and no purchase of any kind, grants the right to:

Reproduce, scan, photograph, digitize, or otherwise copy the design, in whole or in part
Recreate, imitate, or produce a substantially similar design for sale, whether hand-painted, printed, digitized, or manufactured
Sublicense or distribute the design, or any derivative of it, separately from the physical canvas as sold by The Après Hour
Use the design, or any recreation of it, in connection with another business, brand, or product line

These restrictions apply to finished, unstitched, and partially stitched canvases alike, and to retail and wholesale purchasers equally. Violation of this section may result in legal action.

Sharing your work. We love seeing our designs stitched and welcome you sharing photos on social media. We simply ask that you tag @theapreshour or credit The Après Hour by name.

3. Orders & Payment

Orders are confirmed and payment is collected in full at time of purchase, whether placed at retail or through a wholesale account. Orders are confirmed in writing prior to production and are non-cancellable once production has begun.

4. Prices, Site Changes & Your Feedback

Prices can change at any time without notice.

We may update, change, or discontinue any part of our website or the products and services we offer, at any time, without notice.

We do our best to show colors and images accurately, but your screen may display them differently than they appear in person.

We reserve the right to limit who we sell to, including by location, in our sole discretion.

If you send us ideas, suggestions, or feedback, you're giving us permission to use it however we'd like, without any obligation to credit you, pay you, keep it confidential, or respond.

5. Wholesale Accounts

The following applies specifically to accounts purchasing for resale, in addition to all other terms in this document.

Minimum Advertised Price (MAP): Wholesale accounts agree not to advertise or sell The Après Hour products below the listed price shown on The Après Hour's website. In-store point-of-sale accommodations are at the retailer's discretion.
Resale presentation: Wholesale accounts agree to present The Après Hour products in a manner consistent with the brand's quality and positioning, and to comply with Section 2 (Intellectual Property & Copyright) in full.
Termination: The Après Hour reserves the right to terminate any wholesale arrangement at any time.

6. Shipping

Shipping timelines are provided at checkout and vary by product. The Après Hour is not responsible for carrier delays once an order has shipped. Risk of loss passes to the customer upon delivery to the carrier.

7. Returns & Exchanges

Because products are made to order, all sales are final except in the case of a manufacturing defect or shipping damage. Claims must be submitted with photographs within 7 days of delivery to qualify for replacement or credit.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Après Hour's liability for any claim related to a purchase is limited to the purchase price of the item in question. The Après Hour is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
